As a researcher of Hong Kong history, Dr. So Choi-wall will be the speaker at the lecture. Taking the diary of Lai Nin-si, a key figure at the heart of the war outbreak, at the Sham Shui Po Prison Camp as the main reference, this meaningful Pacific War historical document will bring to life the situation of the Sham Shui Po Prison Camp, the attitude and behavior of the Japanese towards non-Chinese POWs, the morale of the British troops after surrender, and the thoughts of the colonial authorities and the British government, among others. The lecture is also supported by Professor Ting Sun-pao, who will serve as the moderator.
